My name is Lana, Lana Skye. I suspect you may have heard my name already. In fact, it seems impossible you wouldn't... my trial was well publicized, and the scandal surrounding it is well on its way to becoming the top story of 2017. I am twenty-nine years old, and the older sibling and guardian of my sister, Ema. She is currently schooling in England, as I am... indisposed, incarcerated at the moment for crimes I committed in the past two years. I have been employed in the criminal justice field in the past, working in both law enforcement and prosecution. It is my intention to return to a career in that field again someday... but I'm aware that will take time. This journal will be a chronicle of my thoughts; there's been a lot of time to reflect back, and to think of the future. I've never easily nor readily shared information about myself with others, so I ask for your patience as I write. |
